Is Pinegro's Coloured Mulch safe for vegetable gardens?
Answer:
Pinegro does not recommend the use of our decorative coloured mulches on vegetables or vegetable gardens.
For recommended uses of our mulches please refer to our "Hints and Tips" tab on our website.
Question:
Why has the paint washed off the coloured mulch?
Answer:
The efficacy of the paint drying process varies due to seasonal weather conditions.
Pinegro recommend that you do not apply mulch to garden beds in the rain or if heavy rain is forecast.
Once mulch is applied, avoid watering product for at least 48-72 hours.
Question:
Will this coloured mulch stain or discolour my driveway, concrete or deck?
Answer:
To avoid staining or discolouration, do not place coloured mulch directly onto driveways, concrete or decking surfaces. Do not allow paint to dry on these surfaces. We recommend using a high pressure cleaner or jet spray if runoff occurs.
For further information please refer to the SDS on red/black paint which can be found under the "Forms" tab on our website.
Question:
Can I purchase coloured mulch in bulk?
Answer:
Our coloured mulch is only available to purchase in bags from most Bunnings stores. Please check with your local store for availability.
